My prayer is that "Arise & Shine" would be used by God to enlighten not only African American Women, but people of all walks of life (men, women, and children) of ills that follow Single African American motherhood, and how these ills not only affect the African American community but all of society. I hear God saying to African American women, Arise and Shine for thy light has come'-- you no longer have to see yourselves as second class citizens. I have called you out of darkness into the marvelous light.
